Hi, I’m Jasmine.
Founder of Alter Image Bridal Hair & Makeup, bridal beauty educator, and business mentor for artists ready to build sustainable, well-structured companies that support their lives—not consume them.
Where It All Began
My career started in Charleston, South Carolina, where I trained at Paul Mitchell The School and was quickly introduced to the fast-paced world of professional beauty while assisting backstage at Charleston Fashion Week.
What began as an opportunity turned into four consecutive years behind the scenes—refining advanced techniques in polished hairstyling, humidity-resistant finishing, and makeup designed to perform seamlessly on camera. That foundation continues to shape my approach today: creating work that feels effortless in person while photographing with intention and longevity.
From Artist to Industry Leader
As my bridal career expanded, so did my vision. I built and led a multi-state bridal hair and makeup team of nearly 20 artists, serving weddings across the Carolinas and beyond.
Behind the scenes, I developed the systems, workflows, and backend structure required to support consistent growth—creating a business that could operate smoothly, scale intentionally, and provide an elevated client experience without burnout.
That experience is what now sets my work apart—not just as an artist, but as a strategist.
Mentorship & Education for Bridal Beauty Professionals
After years of sharing insights organically, I began working closely with bridal beauty professionals who were fully booked—but overwhelmed, under-supported, and ready for their next level.
Today, I mentor established artists in building streamlined, scalable businesses through:
Backend systems and workflow optimization
Team building and leadership development
Hiring and integrating administrative support
Creating structure that allows for long-term sustainability
My approach is direct, strategic, and rooted in real-world experience—not theory.
I’m also the host of The Beauty and the Network Podcast, with 100+ episodes dedicated to business growth, mindset, and honest conversations within the beauty industry.
Industry Recognition & Speaking
My work and expertise have been recognized across both the beauty and wedding industries. I’ve been featured in publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Southern Bride, and Brides, and am a contributing author in the bestselling book Women Who Boss Up.
I’ve been invited to speak and educate for industry platforms including HoneyBook, as well as guest appearances on 20+ podcasts—sharing insights on business systems, growth, and building a career that evolves with you.
A New Chapter
As my family and I relocate to Iowa, I’m continuing to serve brides seeking elevated, natural bridal beauty while expanding my work with artists who are ready to step into more structured, supported, and scalable businesses.
I intentionally take on a limited number of weddings each year—allowing me to deliver a high-touch, calm experience for my clients while maintaining the balance I now teach.
What I Believe
At the core of everything I do—whether behind the chair or behind the scenes of a business—is this:
Beauty should feel like you.
Business should support your life.
And both should be built with intention.
Every person I work with—bride, artist, or collaborator—is welcomed, respected, and supported fully. Across all skin tones, hair textures, backgrounds, and identities.
