When you’re getting something done, it’s a good idea to know a little bit about it— especially when you’re going to be paying for it! Airbrushing operates by using a power compressor (it’s a lot less scary than it sounds!) which creates an even airflow, controllable by your makeup artist, allowing for a gentle application. There are many different brands and even different types of machines! There are some that have almost a pen-like applicator that connects to its compressor via a hose, and some that are more compact and are more handheld. It’s definitely something that brides and clients alike find relaxing when sitting in the makeup chair!
